The Lithuanian goalkeeper born in 1999, in his second appearance among the professionals, responded present, keeping the Ligurian team alive in the moment of greatest thrust of Padova, with some beautiful saves.
“Clearly we are sorry for the result”, commented the biancoceleste goalkeeper from the columns of the official website, “we played without fear against a very strong team and we came really close to bringing home the qualification. Since the warm-up I have seen the team very charged and I was sure we would have given our all ”.
“Personally I am very happy and also a little bit excited. It is not easy to be without playing for a long time and today (yesterday, ed) I had a great desire to show that I am also in this team. In recent months I have always tried to train as hard as possible to have a chance and today's game repays my efforts. I thank the Coach and the club because I feel their esteem and for me this is fundamental. A dedication for this day? I tell the truth, I make the dedication to myself. I never gave up, even in the most difficult moments and being able to defend Entella's goal today was special for me. The feelings, however, leave room for regret because unfortunately in football it is not enough to do well, the results count, but I am sure that with this attitude we will be able to take away some satisfactions in the league ".
